Alltogethertheycreatedsuchapandemoniumthatitwouldhavebeennecessaryforyoutoputcottoninyourears. Thesquareswerefilledwithsmallwoodentheaters,overflowingwithboysfrommorningtillnight,andonthewallsofthehouses,writtenwithcharcoal,werewordslikethese:HURRAHFORTHELANDOFTOYS!DOWNWITHARITHMETIC!NOMORESCHOOL!
