           ‘Thesextongaspedforbreath.‘"Whatdoyouthinkofthis,Gabriel?"saidthegoblin,kickinguphisfeetintheaironeithersideofthetombstone,andlookingattheturned-uppointswithasmuchcomplacencyasifhehadbeencontemplatingthemostfashionablepairofWellingtonsinallBondStreet.

           ‘"It’sit’sverycurious,Sir,"repliedthesexton,halfdeadwithfright;"verycurious,andverypretty,butIthinkI’llgobackandfinishmywork,Sir,ifyouplease."

           ‘"Work!"saidthegoblin,"whatwork?"

           ‘"Thegrave,Sir;makingthegrave,"stammeredthesexton.
