           ‘I’vebeenasleep,rightinfrontofthetaproomfire,’repliedthefatboy,whohadheatedhimselftothecolourofanewchimney-pot,inthecourseofanhour’snap.‘Mastersentmeoverwiththeshay-cart,tocarryyourluggageuptothehouse.He’dha’sentsomesaddle-horses,buthethoughtyou’dratherwalk,beingacoldday.
