‘Oh,Goodwin,’observedMrs.Pott,‘doeshemeantohorsewhiptheeditoroftheINDEPENDENT—doeshe,Goodwin?’
‘Hush,hush,ma’am;praykeepyourselfquiet,’repliedthebodyguard.‘Idaresayhewill,ifyouwishit,ma’am.’
