Here,allthelightcloudsofthemoresolemnpartoftheproceedingspassedaway;everyfaceshoneforthjoyously;andnothingwastobeheardbutcongratulationsandcommendations.Everythingwassobeautiful!Thelawninfront,thegardenbehind,theminiatureconservatory,thedining-room,thedrawing-room,thebedrooms,thesmoking-room,and,aboveall,thestudy,withitspicturesandeasy-chairs,andoddcabinets,andqueertables,andbooksoutofnumber,withalargecheerfulwindowopeninguponapleasantlawnandcommandingaprettylandscape,dottedhereandtherewithlittlehousesalmosthiddenbythetrees;andthenthecurtains,andthecarpets,andthechairs,andthesofas!Everythingwassobeautiful,socompact,soneat,andinsuchexquisitetaste,saideverybody,thattherereallywasnodecidingwhattoadmiremost.
