Mendicantswereofcourseassembledbythescore,togetherwithstrollingsoldiersreturnedfromPalestine,(accordingtotheirownaccountatleast,)pedlarsweredisplayingtheirwares,travellingmechanicswereenquiringafteremployment,andwanderingpalmers,hedge-priests,Saxonminstrels,andWelshbards,weremutteringprayers,andextractingmistuneddirgesfromtheirharps,crowds,androtes.
