However,atabouttwelveo’clockthekeelofthe"Bonadventure"gratedonthebottom.Theanchorwasletgo,thesailsfurled,andthecrewofthelittlevessellanded.
AndtherewasnoreasontodoubtthatthiswasTaborIsland,sinceaccordingtothemostrecentchartstherewasnoislandinthispartofthePacificbetweenNewZealandandtheAmericanCoast.
