ThatdayhereceivedasummonstoattendonthefollowingMondayuponaspecialmeetingofPresbyteryatKirkAllerforapreliminaryexamination.Thethingseemedtohimnowtohavelostallterrors.Hehadnoangeragainsthisaccusers,forweretheynotdulloldmenwhoknewnothingoftheravishingworldthathadbeenopenedtohim?Hewouldbeverymeekwiththem,forhepitiedthem;iftheychosetocensureanddegradehimhewouldbearitpatiently.
