           "Chirp,chirp!Chirp,chirp!"Shesuddenlyheardatwitteringoverherhead. Shelookedupandtherewastheswallow,justpassingby. HewassogladtoseeThumbelinaalthough,whenshetoldhimhowshehatedtomarrythemoleandlivedeepunderground wherethesunnevershone,shecouldnotholdbackhertears.
