           Justastheywereabouttoabandonthesearchthedwarflookedacrossthelakeandthencriedout:"Look,attheothersideofthelakeisahugeoldchestnuttree.Letusgoandsearchthere,perhapsgoodfortunebloomsyonder."Thegoosewaddledandflewandwaddledandflew,thedwarfhurryingafterherasfastashislittlelegswouldlethim,untilatlengththeyhadreachedtheothersideofthelake.Thechestnuttreecastavastshadeanditwassodarkallaroundthatitwasdifficulttodistinguishanything,butsuddenlythegoosegaveacryofjoyandflappedherwingswithdelight.ShethrustherheadintothelonggrassandpluckedsomethingwhichshedeftlyofferedinherbilltoLong-Nose.
