Thisideawascountenancedbythestronginterestwhichthephysicianevermanifestedintheyoungclergyman;heattachedhimselftohimasaparishioner,andsoughttowinafriendlyregardandconfidencefromhisnaturallyreservedsensibility.Heexpressedgreatalarmathispastor’sstateofhealth,butwasanxioustoattemptthecure,and,ifearlyundertaken,seemednotdespondentofafavourableresult.
