AndperhapsitwasthepleasurethegoodSpirithadinshowingoffthispowerofhis,orelseitwashisownkind,generous,heartynature,andhissympathywithallpoormen,thatledhimstraighttoScrooge’sclerk’s;fortherehewent,andtookScroogewithhim,holdingtohisrobe;andonthethresholdofthedoortheSpiritsmiled,andstoppedtoblessBobCratchit’sdwellingwiththesprinklingofhistorch.Thinkofthat.Bobhadbutfifteenboba-weekhimself;hepocketedonSaturdaysbutfifteencopiesofhisChristianname;andyettheGhostofChristmasPresentblessedhisfour-roomedhouse.
