           “Andthatreason?”Iaskedsceptically.

           Poirotshruggedhisshoulders.

           “HowshouldIknow?Discreditable,withoutdoubt.ThisMr.Inglethorp,Ishouldsay,issomewhatofascoundrel—butthatdoesnotofnecessitymakehimamurderer.”

           Ishookmyhead,unconvinced.

           “Wedonotagree,eh?”saidPoirot.“Well,letusleaveit.Timewillshowwhichofusisright.Nowletusturntootheraspectsofthecase.
