           HeretheJewpausedagain,andlookedatthelastzecchin,intending,doubtless,tobestowituponGurth.Heweighedituponthetipofhisfinger,andmadeitringbydroppingituponthetable.Haditrungtooflat,orhaditfeltahair’sbreadthtoolight,generosityhadcarriedtheday;but,unhappilyforGurth,thechimewasfullandtrue,thezecchinplump,newlycoined,andagrainaboveweight.
