           ThusthepartyagainstKingArthurprosperedatthistime,andhisknightsweresoreashamed.ThenSirBors,SirEctor,andSirLionelcalledtogethertheknightsoftheirblood,nineinnumber,andagreedtojointogetherinonebandagainstthetwostrangeknights.SotheyencounteredSirLancelotallatonce,andbymainforcesmotehishorsetotheground;andbymisfortuneSirBorsstruckSirLancelotthroughtheshieldintotheside,andthespearbrokeoffandlefttheheadinthewound.
