Atthatcameouttohimanancientman,inpriest’svestments,saying,“Behold,sir,here,thekeysofthiscastle.”
Thenheunlockedthegates,andfoundwithinamultitudeofpeople,whocriedout,“Sirknight,yebewelcome,forlonghavewewaitedthydeliverance,”andtoldhimthatthesevenfelonshehadslainhadlongenslavedthepeopleroundabout,andkilledallknightswhopassedthatway,becausethemaidenwhomtheyhadrobbedofthecastlehadforetoldthatbyoneknighttheyshouldthemselvesbeoverthrown.
“Whereisthemaiden?”askedSirGalahad.
