           Buttheotherseemedtolookonitwithdifferenteyes.Whenhesawthestonehegaveoneshrillcryofterrorandcollapsedontheground,buryinghisfaceinthemossasiftoshutoutthesight.Davidseizedhimanddraggedhimforwardtillhelaybythealtar,andallthewhilehisscreamsrosepiercinglyabovethewind.
