Soontheyheardacluckingsoundandachorusof"cheep!cheep!"andaservantthrewopenthedoortoallowBillinaandhertenfluffychickstoentertheThrone-Room.AstheYellowHenmarchedproudlyattheheadofherfamily,Dorothycried,"Oh,youlovelythings!"andrandownfromherseattopetthelittleyellowdownyballs.Billinaworeapearlnecklace,andaroundtheneckofeachchickenwasatinygoldchainholdingalocketwiththeletter"D"engravedupontheoutside.
