Sometimes,whentheweatherwasverydisagreeableandpeoplewerekeptbelowdecksinthesaloon,apartyofhisgrown-upfriendswouldpersuadehimtotellthemsomeofthese“asperiences”ofJerry’s,andashesatrelatingthemwithgreatdelightandfervor,therewascertainlynomorepopularvoyageronanyoceansteamercrossingtheAtlanticthanlittleLordFauntleroy.Hewasalwaysinnocentlyandgood-naturedlyreadytodohissmallbesttoaddtothegeneralentertainment,andtherewasacharmintheveryunconsciousnessofhisownchildishimportance.
