Mr.HobbswasimmenselyimpressedbythissuggestionandDick’sbusinesscapacity.
“That’sso!”hereplied.“Thisherecallsforlawyers.”
Andleavingthestoreinthecareofasubstitute,hestruggledintohiscoatandmarcheddown-townwithDick,andthetwopresentedthemselveswiththeirromanticstoryinMr.Harrison’soffice,muchtothatyoungman’sastonishment.
