           Hegaveastartandrubbedhiseyes.Jimwastrottingalongthewell-knownroad,shakinghisearsandwhiskinghistailwithacontentedmotion.JustaheadofthemwerethegatesofHugson’sRanch,andUncleHugsonnowcameoutandstoodwithupliftedarmsandwideopenmouth,staringinamazement.
