           Harranwasabouttoreply,butatthatmomentMagnuscaughtsightofthethreeflatcarsloadedwithbright-paintedfarmingmachineswhichstillremainedonthesidingabovethestation.HelaidhishandsonthereinsandHarrancheckedtheteam.

           “Harran,”observedMagnus,fixingthemachinerywithajudicialfrown,“Harran,thoselooksingularlylikeourploughs.Driveover,boy.”

           ThetrainhadbythistimegoneonitswayandHarranbroughttheteamuptothesiding.
