           Magnusrosetohisfeet.Hemadenogesture.Erectasacavalryofficer,tall,thin,commanding,hedominatedthecrowdinaninstant.Therewasamoment’shush.“Gentlemen,”hesaid,“iforganisationisagoodword,moderationisabetterone.Thematteristoograveforhaste.Iwouldsuggestthatweeachandseverallyreturntoourrespectivehomesforthenight,sleepoverwhathashappened,andconveneagainto-morrow,whenwearecalmerandcanapproachthisaffairinamorejudiciousmood.
