           “Andwhatghastlygallicrowmightthepoorfellowhavebeenlike,MasterFairway?”askedtheturf-cutter.

           “Isheknownintheseparts?”saidOllyDowden.

           Athinjibberingvoicewasheardtoreply,“No,notatall.”
