Shereachedup,andpullingabluebowfromherhair,untiedanddoubleditagainstthetree.Frecklesturnedhiseyesfromherandmanagedthefasteningwithshakingfingers.TheAngelhadcalledhimherknight!DearLord,howhelovedher!Shemustnotseehisface,orsurelyherquickeyeswouldreadwhathewasfightingtohide.Hedidnotdarelayhislipsonthatribbonthen,butthatnighthewouldreturntoit.Whentheyhadgonealittledistance,theybothlookedback,andthemorningbreezesetthebitofbluewavingthemafarewell.
