           “Well!”heexclaimed.“Uponmyword.P’rapstha’artayoung’un,afterall,an’p’rapstha’sgotchild’sbloodinthyveinsinsteadofsourbuttermilk.Tha’sskippedredintothycheeksassureasmyname’sBenWeatherstaff.Iwouldn’thavebelievedtha’coulddoit.”

           “Ineverskippedbefore,”Marysaid.“I’mjustbeginning.Icanonlygouptotwenty.”
