           Mrs.MedlockhadallowedMarthatosleepallnightatthecottage,butshewasbackatherworkinthemorningwithcheeksredderthaneverandinthebestofspirits.

           “Igotupatfouro’clock,”shesaid.“Eh!itwasprettyonth’moorwithth’birdsgettin’upan’th’rabbitsscamperin’aboutan’th’sunrisin’.Ididn’twalkallth’way.Amangavemearideinhiscartan’Ididenjoymyself.”

           Shewasfullofstoriesofthedelightsofherdayout.Hermotherhadbeengladtoseeherandtheyhadgotthebakingandwashingalloutoftheway.Shehadevenmadeeachofthechildrenadoughcakewithabitofbrownsugarinit.
