           Itseemedverycertainthatsomethingwasupholdingandupliftinghim.Hesatontheseatsinthealcoves,andonceortwicehesatdownonthegrassandseveraltimeshepausedinthepathandleanedonDickon,buthewouldnotgiveupuntilhehadgoneallroundthegarden.Whenhereturnedtothecanopytreehischeekswereflushedandhelookedtriumphant.

           “Ididit!TheMagicworked!”hecried.“Thatismyfirstscientificdiscovery.”

           “WhatwillDr.Cravensay?”brokeoutMary.

           “Hewillthinkheisinadream,”criedMary.“Hewon’tbelievehiseyes.”
