           ‘Yourname’sBlackpool,ain’tit?’saidtheyoungman.

           Stephencolouredtofindhimselfwithhishatinhishand,inhisgratitudeforbeingspokento,orinthesuddennessofit,orboth.Hemadeafeintofadjustingthelining,andsaid,‘Yes.’
