Now,forsamemoments,Dingowasmovingroundtheyoungchild,whensuddenlyitstopped.Itseyesbecamefixed,itsrightpawwasraised,itstailwaggedconvulsively.Then,suddenlythrowingitselfononeofthecubes,itseizeditinitsmouthandlaiditonthedeckafewstepsfromJack.
