           Cummingsreplied:“No!TheonlycompanyIhavehadwasmywife,thedoctor,andthelandladythelast-namedhavingturnedoutaperfecttrump.Iwonderyoudidnotseeitinthepaper.IknowitwasmentionedintheBicycleNews.”

           Ithoughttocheerhimup,andsaid:“Well,youareallrightnow?”
