           Iwasfeelingmywayoutoftheroom,whenIsuddenlyreceivedahardintentionalpunchatthebackofmyhead.Isaidloudly:“Whodidthat?”Therewasnoanswer;soIrepeatedthequestion,withthesameresult.Istruckamatch,andlightedthegas.Theywerealltalkingandlaughing,soIkeptmyowncounsel;but,aftertheyhadgone,IsaidtoCarrie;“Thepersonwhosentmethatinsultingpost-cardatChristmaswashereto-night.”
