           "HastthouseentheWhiteWhale?"demandedAhab,whentheboatdriftedback.

           "Think,thinkofthywhale-boat,stovenandsunk!Bewareofthehorribletail!"

           "Itelltheeagain,Gabriel,that-"Butagaintheboattoreaheadasifdraggedbyfiends.Nothingwassaidforsomemoments,whileasuccessionofriotouswavesrolledbywhichbyoneofthoseoccasionalcapricesoftheseasweretumbling,notheavingit.Meantime,thehoistedspermwhale’sheadjoggedaboutveryviolently,andGabrielwasseeneyeingitwithrathermoreapprehensivenessthanhisarchangelnatureseemedtowarrant.
