Asthisistobeascribble-scrabbleletter,Idirectittoyou,foritmayamuseyou,andgiveyousomeideaofmygoingson,forthoughquiet,theyareratheramusing,forwhich,oh,bejoyful!AfterwhatAmywouldcallHerculaneumefforts,inthewayofmentalandmoralagriculture,myyoungideasbegintoshootandmylittletwigstobendasIcouldwish.TheyarenotsointerestingtomeasTinaandtheboys,butIdomydutybythem,andtheyarefondofme.FranzandEmilarejollylittlelads,quiteaftermyownheart,forthemixtureofGermanandAmericanspiritinthemproducesaconstantstateofeffervescence.Saturdayafternoonsareriotoustimes,whetherspentinthehouseorout,foronpleasantdaystheyallgotowalk,likeaseminary,withtheProfessorandmyselftokeeporder,andthensuchfun!
