Athome,withinandaroundhermother’scottage,Pearlwantednotawideandvariouscircleofacquaintance.Thespelloflifewentforthfromherever-creativespirit,andcommunicateditselftoathousandobjects,asatorchkindlesaflamewhereveritmaybeapplied.
