           LittleRedRidingHoodraisedhereyes,andwhenshesawthesunbeamsdancinghereandtherethroughthetrees,andprettyflowersgrowingeverywhere,shethought, "SupposeItakegrandmotherafreshnosegay;thatwouldpleasehertoo.ItissoearlyinthedaythatIshallstillgetthereingoodtime;"andsosheranfromthepathintothewoodtolookforflowers. Andwhenevershehadpickedone,shefanciedthatshesawastillprettieronefartheron,andranafterit,andsogotdeeperanddeeperintothewood. 

           Meanwhilethewolfranstraighttothegrandmother’shouseandknockedatthedoor. 

           "Whoisthere?" 

           "LittleRedRidingHood,"repliedthewolf."Sheisbringingcakeandwine;openthedoor." 

           "Liftthelatch,"calledoutthegrandmother,"Iamtooweak,andcannotgetup."
