           "Soldiersdon’tcomplain,"shewouldsaybetweenhersmall,shutteeth,"Iamnotgoingtodoit;Iwillpretendthisispartofawar."

           Buttherewerehourswhenherchildheartmightalmosthavebrokenwithlonelinessbutforthreepeople.
