           ButSirErnest’scross-examinationwasyettocome.

           “Hemighthavestowedthemthereinahurry.”

           “Butyouhavejustsaiditwasawholeweeksincethecrime.Hewouldhavehadampletimetoremovethemanddestroythem.”

           “Perhaps.”

           “Thereisnoperhapsaboutit.
