Atfirstheshotmuchofthegamefromthecabinwindows,buttowardtheendtheanimalslearnedtofearthestrangelairfromwhenceissuedtheterrifyingthunderofhisrifle.
InhisleisureClaytonread,oftenaloudtohiswife,fromthestoreofbookshehadbroughtfortheirnewhome.
