           Itwasbutafewminuteslaterthattheboattouchedthebeach.Themenjumpedoutandliftedthegreatchesttothesand.Theywereonthenorthsideofthepointsothattheirpresencewasconcealedfromthoseatthecabin.

           Themenarguedangrilyforamoment.Thentherat-facedone,withseveralcompanions,ascendedthelowbluffonwhichstoodthetreethatconcealedTarzan.Theylookedaboutforseveralminutes.

           "Hereisagoodplace,"saidtherat-facedsailor,indicatingaspotbeneathTarzan’stree.
