AtlastClaytonsawtheimmensemusclesofTarzan’sshouldersandbicepsleapintocordedknotsbeneaththesilvermoonlight.Therewasalongsustainedandsupremeeffortontheape-man’spart—andthevertebraeofSabor’sneckpartedwithasharpsnap.
InaninstantTarzanwasuponhisfeet,andforthesecondtimethatdayClaytonheardthebullape’ssavageroarofvictory.
