AssoonasTomwasbackwecutalongthepath,aroundthegardenfence,andbyandbyfetcheduponthesteeptopofthehilltheothersideofthehouse.TomsaidheslippedJim’shatoffofhisheadandhungitonalimbrightoverhim,andJimstirredalittle,buthedidn’twake.AfterwardsJimsaidthewitchesbewitchedhimandputhiminatrance,androdehimallovertheState,andthensethimunderthetreesagain,andhunghishatonalimbtoshowwhodoneit.
