           "NowIcanhaveaGOODlookatyou;and,laws-a-me,I’vebeenhungryforitamanyandamanyatime,alltheselongyears,andit’scomeatlast!Webeenexpectingyouacoupleofdaysandmore.Whatkep’you?boatgetaground?"

           "Yes’mshe—"

           "Don’tsayyes’msayAuntSally.Where’dshegetaground?"

           Ididn’trightlyknowwhattosay,becauseIdidn’tknowwhethertheboatwouldbecominguptheriverordown.ButIgoagooddealoninstinct;andmyinstinctsaidshewouldbecomingupfromdowntowardsOrleans.Thatdidn’thelpmemuch,though;forIdidn’tknowthenamesofbarsdownthatway.IseeI’dgottoinventabar,orforgetthenameoftheonewegotagroundonorNowIstruckanidea,andfetcheditout:
