           IbeguntotellaboutSheffield,andhowwelivedthere,andallabouttheEnglishWilkses,andsoon;butIdidn’tgetprettyfurtillthedoctorbeguntolaugh;andLeviBell,thelawyer,says:

           "That’llfixit.I’lltaketheorderandsendit,alongwithyourbrother’s,andthenthey’llknowit’sallright."

           Sotheygotsomepaperandapen,andthekinghesetdownandtwistedhisheadtooneside,andchawedhistongue,andscrawledoffsomething;andthentheygivethepentothedukeandthenforthefirsttimethedukelookedsick.Buthetookthepenandwrote.Sothenthelawyerturnstothenewoldgentlemanandsays:

           "Youandyourbrotherpleasewritealineortwoandsignyournames.
